About Rachlin Research

For the past decade I have been working in the field of scientific computing and drug discovery. Since 2004, I have been a consultant for the pharmaceutical company Sanofi-Aventis developing tools for biological pathway analysis and knowledge integration. The principal focus of my research is the application of pattern recognition, knowledge integration, and data-mining to scientific discovery.

I recently started a new company: Diatom Software LLC providing consulting services for scientific computing applications in both academia and industry. Our specialties include biological database design, knowledge integration, data-mining, decision-support, optimization, and artificial intelligence. Our latest technology, BioLink is a platform for building integrated biological data systems, and can be used to identify connections between genes, pathways, diseases, functional annotations, and bioassays.

I live and work in Holliston Massachusetts with my wife Cara and two children, Jack and Abby.
